Bogart nicknamed “Sluggy” because of the public. and private fights that punctuated their sixyear marriage, was granted a divorce in Las Vegas, Nev. yester= day. “It was a very pleasant marriage,” said Miss Methot, although she charged Bogart with inflicting extreme cruelty, great mental suffering “and impairment of her health. She. denied. reports that fshe planned to remarry, Bogart did not contest his wife's divorce petition, which said that a property settlement had been arranged. Reports were that Miss Methot won considerably more of their joint . property than Bogart was required to give her, Bogart's former. wives, in addi~ tion to Miss Methot, were Mary Phillips and Helen Menken. -
