The Oshima oil storage area is the largest known oil storage unit in Japan. The Tokuyama factory is the main source of fuel for Japanese army planes, while the nearby Tokuyama naval fuel station is the most important naval fueling point in Japan. The Tokuyama factory was 4000 feet long and 1500 feet wide. The. oil refinery at Otake, midway between Tokuyama and Kure, was 5000 feet long and 3700 feet wide, one of the largest in Japan. Trained Dog will Compete In Obedience Trials May 20
Well- trained dogs who are taught to be Better pets and’ good companions” will perform in’ the third annual obedience trial and tracking test at Tomlinson hall May 20, . The obedience trial is sponsored by the Indianapolis - Obediance Training club which has been unofficially holding ‘training classes since 1938. The organization formally was organized in 194 and now has a membership of 165. Training the dogs is- Clarence OC. Alexander, who is well-known in the field and in Doberman Pinscher and Cocker Spaniel breeding circles. Mr. Alexander also has worked in .Jthe Dogs for Defense field.
