HOLLYWOOD, April 12 (U, P.). —PFilm star Shirley Temple said today that a girl of 16 is too young to get married. Shirley, who will be 17 April 23, announced her engagement this week to air force Sgt. John George Agar. Since then, she said, she’s been deluged with letters form 16-year-olds who expect her to take their side against their parents’ objections to -wartime romances. Miss ‘Temple announced she thought it was all right to get engaged at 17 but that a girl ought to wait until she's 18 or maybe 20 before settling down to married life.
