Mrs. Mitta Chamt Chambers Lived Here 35 Years.
Wrs. Mitta P. Chambers, 5657 Madison ave., died Tuesday in Tampa, Fla, where she and her hus- | band, William C. Chambers, had | been vacationing since November. Mrs. Chainbers had lived here 35 years snd was a member of Naomi | chapter No. 131, O. ‘E. 8, and the | Southport Christian church, Her | husband was a former employee of the old Nordyke & Marmon Co. She is survived by her husband; a sister, Mrs, Fred Breckenridge, Knightstown; a brother, Newton

and four nephews. The body will be returned to] Moore Mortuaries’ Peace Chapel, pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Shipp, who was 63, was a native of St. Paul and had lived here about 30 years. She was the wife of William J. Shipp, an employee of McQuay-Norris Manufactfiring Co. Other survivors are three sons, Pfc. Miles L. Shipp, in Europe; CPO Ralph Shipp, in the South Pacific, and Willlam B., Indianapolis; five daughters, Mrs. Lena Brown, Mrs. Norma Hoffbauer, Mrs, Audrey Coffman, Mrs. Gladys Gandy, and Mrs. Eileen Craig all of Indianapolis; two brothers, Warren Neal, St. Paul, and Morris Neal, Kalamazoo, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, ———————— SAFETY STANDARDS APPROVED WASHINGTON. — Standards to provide safety in electric and gas welding have now been prepared by competent persons and approved by the American Standards association.
