Small business organizations, being solicited through the downtown area in the Indianapolis Red Cross » campaign, are giving a big “lift” to the $1,145,500 effort, it was reported today. Many reports of increased giving are being received at drive headquarters from workers-in the downtown area who are calling on busineess concerns employing nine or less : There have been instances of workers obtaining double last year's subscriptions, while others have, reported contributions 50 per cent greater than a year ago.
