The full force of 3000 volunteer workers were in the field today as the Indianapolis Red Cross opened

its “over the top” war fund drive.

Each worker has pledged to stay on the job until March 28 when the campaign ends. The goal is $1,145,500. Two thousand of the workers started solicitation today while the remaining 1000 have been serving since March 1. The final push in the campaign was opened last night with a free municipal concert by the Indianapolis symphony orchestra in Cadle tabernacle. Capt. Robert J. Kaiser of Ft. Hayes, O., a young infantryman wounded in. France, told what the Red Cross means to the combat soldier and urged the audience to give “until it hutts® Wounded veterans from Billings hospital were guests at the concert, They also agreed that the Red Cross “treated them swell.”
