Wartime Eating 2 Meta Given
THE BIG FAT MEATY BEANS which are somber in color and bland in flavor have great appeal to those with husky appetites and all that is necessary for seasoning is salt and butter or bacon fat. But those who demand some smack be added will find this combina« tion in today’s menus very savoury. Because it takes about three hours of simmering to make the kidney beans tender and mellow, it is a good plan to cook enough for two or
three meals, .
