The distraught, 19-year-old moth~ er sent a telegram to the Presid¥nt yesterday, asking that her husband, an electrician’s mate l-c, be permitted to come home to see the child once more. : It will have to be soon, though, because little Vesta Ann hasn't much time. She is suffering from a congenital heart condition, and San Antonio specialists said she has only two months to live. One of the valves of her heart is too small they explained, and her system isn't receiving the amount of blood, and oxygen, it must have.
