Willis and I Capehart Ready To Fight Measure in Senate.

Times Washington Bureau WASHINGTON, Feb, 23.—Hoosier senators do not like the new version | of the work-or-fight bill any better than congressmen from the state did the one passed by the house. Both Senators Raymond E. Willis and Homer E. Capehart, Republicans, declared today that they intend to vote against the measure so long as it contains the penalty clauses provided by the Austin and Tydings amendments. Both Republican and Democratic representatives from Indiana voted against the measure, known as the May bill, when it passed the house.
