Messersmith, blacksmith for the New York Central railroad for 45 years who died yesterday in Emhardt clinic, Burial will be in Crown Hill. Mr. Messersmith, who was 65, lived at 2805 N. Denny st. He had resided in Marion county 60 years and had been employed at the Beech Grove shops since 1900. He was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen at Millersville. Rites for William R. Craigle, senfor risk mortgage examiner for the FHA, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Hisey & Titus mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill, Mr. Craigle, who was 57, died Sunday in his home, 22 N. Riley ave. A life-long Indianapolis resident, he was employed by the Ford Motor Co. before joining tne FHA 10 years ago. He was treasurer of the Gyro club and a member of the Irvington Presbyterian church, the Ancient Landmarks lodge, F. & A. M.; the Scottish Rite and the Murat Shrine, Survivors are his wife, Cynthia; a son, S. Sgt. Willlam R. Craigle Jr, serving in the air forces in Florida; three brothers, John, Walter and James, dll of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. J. E. Compton, Indianapolis.
