Put margarine; molasses, suger and vinegar into sauce pan and boil 3 mins, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool. Sift flour three times with cinnamon, ginger and soda.. ‘Add to cooled margarine mixture and blend well Wrap In waxed paper and chill overnight or for several hours. Roll out on lightly floured boerd very thin (1-16-in. thick). Cut with a 2-in. cookie cutter; bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees F. for 7 mins. Remove from sheet while warm and place on rack to cool. Stored in air-tight containers, these cookies will keep indefinitely. Yield: Ten dozen very thin cookies.

Membership - Report “The neighborhood program,” Miss Otto said, “seeks to decentralize Scout activities and further the use of community resources.” She also spoke last night at a Scout dinner meeting in the Joan of Arc community house, Mrs. H., H. Cummings, Girl Scout commissioner, presided © at yesterday's meeting and announced that local membership has passed 4000. The national registration exceeds. 1,035,000. Procedure which will be substituted for the Girl Scouts’ recently canceled convention also was outlined at the meeting.
