VIOLATION OF RENTAL CEILINGS ALLEGED

Former county clerk Charles Ettinger, 5790 E. Michigan st, yesterday was charged with violation of OPA rental ceilings. A suit filed in Superior court 3 on behalf of the OPA alleged Mr. Ettinger and his wife overcharged tenants in a building owned by them at 817 Muskingum st. | The OPA charged the Ettingers with collecting $12.50 per unit from | tenants which, according to the OPA, is $3.50 above the rental ceiling for the property. The suit also named the J. G. McCullough agency, 108 N. Delaware st, agent for the Ettingers, as co-defendant.
