Eric A. Johnston, president of the U. 8, Chamber of Commerce, has been invited to speak before the new Foreign Policy association of Indiana at a spring meeting. Mr. Johnston recently returned from a tour of Russia. The local group, a unit of the national Foreign Policy association, was inaugurated yesterday at a luncheon attended by 125 in the Indianapolis Athletic club. Edward Harmening and Richard Evans were the speed kings in the Ice-O-Rama skating trials at Lake Sullivan last night. The boys dominated competition for the final event at the Coliseum at 8 p. m. Tuesday by qualifying for all four races, Among those who will compete for the George J. Marott trophies are (left to right) Mr. Evans, George Clark, Robert Pane, Mr. Harmening and Jack Fobes. Others who qualified for the finals are Billy Garwood, Jim Solenberg and William Warwick. Dick Long will be alternate skater for the 220 and 440yard races and Dave Watson will be alternate starter for the half mile.
