Hollopeter of | Indianapolis as chairman, the governor's committee also drafted two other acts. One would embrace in a single statute the four acts now governing the acquisition, construction and operation of airports by cities or counties. Another provides for adequate air markings in small towns and cities. Inira-State Activities
The report said that the federal civil aeronautics authority exercises rigid control of interstate aviation and maintains a maze of facilities both for private as well as commercial planes. But, it added, that there are in-| tra-state activities which it was] unable to regulate and which should | - be brought under control. The commission found: THAT the state has 63 airports. | 14 or which are city or county fields | operating under present state laws. | THAT the state is served by four | commercial air lines,

With the extension of the British island” in the center of Athens, Anglo-American relief agencies began distributing 60 tons of canned meat to 75,000 inhabitants in "the cleared area. : Free soup was distributed to 10,000 persons in Athens yesterday. Four Greek policemen armed with tommy guns arrested John Rallis, puppet prime minister during the German occupation yesterday. He was seized in the apartment of an industrialist friend. Rallis had escaped from Averow political prison during an E. L.A. S. attack on the structure. Government quarters reported that Gen. Nicholas Plastiras soon would be named commander of all Greek armed forces in a reshuffle designed to placate left-wing elements.
