Janet Malcolm Sinclair's Engagement To Dr. Alfred Symmes Is: Announced

MR. AND MRS. ARCHER COIT SINCLAIR of Golden Hill announce the engagement of their daighter, Janet Malcolm to Dr. Alfred T. Symmes, son of Mrs. Eudora Y. Symmes. : Miss Sinclair is a graduate of Dana Hall school,

Wellesley, Mass., and Bradford Junior cbllege, Bradford, Mass. She is a member of the Junior league. Dr. Symmes, a graduaté of Butler .university and the Indiana university School of Medicine, is serving his interneship at the City hospital. He holds a réserve commission in the army tnedical corps and is a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and Nu Sigma Nu medical fraternity. No date has been set for the wedding.

Lt. Murray to Wed Miss Geupel ;

MISS MARJORIE GEUPEL will become the bride of Lt. James L. Murray Jr. in a ceremony at 6 o'clock this evening in the Orleans club in, New Orleans, La. The bride is the daughter ‘of Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Geupel and Lt. Murray's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James L, Murray. Escorted by her father, the bride will be in an ivory satin gown styled with an illusion yoke, fitted bodice, long sleeves and a full skirt falling into a train. She will have an illusion veil cascading from a Juliet cap. Her sister, Mrs, Richard DeMars, and Miss Susan Murray, the bridegroom's sister, will be matron and maid of- honor, respectively. Théy have chosen maroon satin frocks fashioned with scalloped necklines, short sleeves and full skirts. Lt. Murray's father will serve as best man. Following the wedding, there will be a dinner for the immediate families in the Orleans. club. Others attending the ceremony from Indianapolis will be Mrs. Geupel, Mrs. Murray and John Geupel, the bride's brother. Miss Geupel is a graduate of Connecticut College for Women and the bridegroom attended Dartmouth college. He is a Phi Delta Theta fraternity member,

Auxiliary Plans Christmas Tea

A CHRISTMAS TEA will be given Monday afternoon by the Auxiliary to the children’s bureau of the Indianapolis Orphan’ home. It will be from 3 until 5 o'clock in the home of Mrs. Horace O.
