ing figure in. the Indianapolis automotive field, died yesterday in Miami, Fla. He was 632. . His death followed a brief jllness- and an operation in Jackson Memorial hospital in Miami. Mr, Lathrop had been spending the winter in Florida, A native of Swanton, O., he lived at 3¢ W, 73d st. He came to Indiandianapolis in 1908 and the following year began his autemotive career as secretary-treasurer of the Henderson Motor Saled Co. In 1912 he became Indiana branch manager for the Cole Motor Co. and in 1916 organized the Cole Sales Co. of Indiana, dealing in Cole and Maxwell cars. Later he became associated with the late John 8. McFarland and the firm name was changed to Lathrop-McFarland, In 1927, following Mr. McFarland'’s death, Mr, Lathrop entered business with W. PF. Moyer and the firm was changed to Lathrop-Moyer Co, He retired from the automotive business to become associated with the Lincoln Loan Corp. 10 years ago, He was a member of the Columbia elub, the Meridian Hills and Woodstock country clubs and Alpha Tau Omega. He served as a member of Marion county price and rationing board 49-2 from its be~ ginning. Survivors are his wife, Julia; three sons, Sgt. Homer C. Lathrop Jr. stationed with the army signal corps at Monmouth, N. J.; Ensign Arthur B. Lathrop, with the navy in the South Pacific, and Lt. John 8. Lathrop, with the air forces at Tinker field, Okla.; a grandson, Stephen Lathrop; a brother, Louis A. of Toledo, O,, and a sister, Mrs. C. J.P. Lucas, Louisville, Ky. Funeral services will be held in Indianapolis.

MRS. GEORGIA HADLEY
Mrs, Georgia B. Hadley, a resident of Indianapolis for many years before she moved to St. Petersburg, Pla., about eight years ago, died at her Florida home Wednesday.
She was a member of the Taber pacle Presbyterian church when residing in Indianapolis. The widow of Herbert H. Hadley, Mrs. Hadley was born in New Castle. Survivors include three sons, Elliott of Terre Haute; Charles of Milwaukee, Wis., and Harlan of Indianapolis. Services and burial will be held Saturday s8 New Castle.
