Fabric Design Contest.
This year, in addition to the usual achievement keys, certificates and prizes given by Scholastic magazine, Block's will offer special awards to Indiana students of $50, first; $25, second, and $15 for third, for the best fabric design using the leaf and blossom of the Indiana state tree—the tulip tree. Designs must be suitable for reproduction in drapery and upholstery materials. Reproductions of the tulip tree blossom and rules governing the award are now being sent to all Indiana art instructors.
