Services for Robert F. Pannell, a locomotive engineer for 53 years, were to be at 2:30 p. m, today in the Bert S. Gadd funeral home folks lowed by burial in Washington Park mausoleum. The Rev, Harold H. Hazenfield, pastor of the First Evangelical church, will conduct the services which will be in charge of Logan lodge No. 675, F. and A. M. Mr. Pannell, who was 77, died Friday at his home, 3709 E. New York st. He was an engineer for the Norfolk & Western railroad seven years and was employed by the New York Central railroad for 45 years after coming to Indianapolis. He was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church, Logan lodge, Scottish Rite, Indianapolis lodge No. 465, I. O. O. F,, and Division No. 546 Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Mrs, Sally Pannell; a brother, Bass Pannell of Oak Hill, W. Va.; a sister, Miss Beattie Parnell of Shawsville, Va., and a half-sister, Mrs. Beulah McKeand of Ceredo, W, Va.

Services and burial for Mrs. Pearl Kribs, a former resident of Indianapolis, will be held at Redondq Beach, Cal. Mrs. Kribs, who was 65, died Friday in Los Angeles where she had lived for 32 years. She was the widow of John Kribs who formerly operated a tailoring shop here. She was born ir Marion county and had owned a restaurant on W. Ohio st. Surviving are a brother, W. W. Hensley of New Augusta, a son, Herman Didlein of Redondo Beach, and two nieces, Mrs. Walter ‘ozad of New Augusta and Mrs, Lucille Butt of Redondo Beach.
