Columbia Club Events Listed
The Columbia club's annual Christmas party for children will be held frem 8 to-5 p. m. Dec. 17 in the club. A floor show and the appearance of Santa Claus will be features of the party.
During the dinner hour that night the Ogden Junior chorale will give its 25th annual program of Christmas carols in the main dining room. The Junior Columbians’ holiday dance will be from 9 p. m. to midnight Dec. 22 in the club ballroom. Harry McOrady's orchestra will play. Turkey dinners will be served from noon until § p. m. Christmas ddy and during the same hours on New Year's day. A dinner-dance in the Cascade room Dec. 30 will begin at 7:30 p. m.

Church Groups— Holiday Bazaar To Be Held at
Among church events this week will be an installation of officers and a Christmas bazaar. * The Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Irvington Methodist church will meet Thursday in the church. Installation of officers at 11 a. m. will be followed by a 12:30 p. m. luncheon, A musical program wil be presented by the Madrigal singers of Warren Central high school and Mrs. E. I. Shoemaker will tell an original story, “A Robe for the Passover.” The devotions will be led by Mrs. I. H. Staley and circle 2 with Mrs. Ralph Gray as leader will be in charge of the luncheon.

Sweet potato, sausage and apple casserole: One and one-half Ibs. sweet potatoes, 1 1b. bulk sausage, 1 tsp. salt, % tsp. pepper, 2 tbsps, sausage fat, 4 medium apples, Cook unpeeled sweet potatoes until done. Meanwhile, pan-fry sausage to brown, reserving sausage fat. Peel and mash potatoes; season with salt, pepper and sausage fat. Place potatoes in baking-glass casserole, Core apples and place down into potato casserole. Fill hollows of apples with cooked sausage and ar range any remaining sausage around edge of casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. until apples are tender—about 45 mins, 7 Uncover and increase heat to 425 degrees F', and continue to bake for 15 mins. to brown the top attractively.
