Born in Indianapolis, he worked as a blacksmith at Kingan's before world war I and then served overs seas with the 150th artillery, the 42d division, commanded by Mayor Tyndall, He was a member of the Veterans- of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and St, Catherine's i Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hammel; a brother, William, and two . sisters, Mrs, Marguerite Lockwood of Indianapolis and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Columbus.

Rites for Robert H. Megee, a former Indianapolis resident who died Sunday in his home in Los Angeles, will be held at 3 p. m. tomorrow in the Shirley Brothers central chapel with the Rev. Robert D, McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in €row] Hill Mr. Megee, 55, was graduated from Manual high school and.was associated with the Willys-Overland Co. as a tire dealer for several years. tomorrow in the Beanblossom mortuary, 1321 W. Ray st. Burial will be in Washington Park. Mr, Haller, 70, died yesterday in his home, 1273 W, Ray st. He came to Indianapolis from Bucyrus, O., 45 years ago and worked for the Peoria & Eastern line from 1906 until his retirement five years ago. He was a member of division 143, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Survivors are his wife, Flora; two daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Johnson and Mrs, Violet Johnson, both of Indianapolis, and two grandchildren.

Charles J. Wagner, retired Marjon county grocer, was buried in St. Joseph this morning following serv ices at the Robert W. Sterling funeral home and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church, Mr. Wagner, 61, died Tuesday in his home at Shaffer lake. He lived in Marion county until three years ago, He is survived by his wife, Frances; three nephews and a niece.

Services for Mrs. Bernadine Brackman, who died Wednesday in her home, 1730 Union st, will be held at 8:30 a, m, tomorrow in her home and at 9 a. m, in Sacred Heart Catholic church, Burial will be in St. Joseph's. Mrs, Brackman, 77, had been an invalid for several years, Born in Oldenburg, she lived in Indianapolis for 31 years. She belonged to the Christian Mothers society, Third Order and the Altar society of the Sacred Heart church. Survivors are two sons, Walter and John, and five daughters, Misses Marie, Edna and Clara Brackman, Mrs. F, A, Ohleyer and Mrs, J. M, Werner, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Freihage of Oldenburg, and 14 grandchildren.
