JANE JORDAN

Put your problems in a letter to Jane Jordan whe will answer questions this column daily.

DEAR JANE JORDAN-—I am 18, the mother of .a child, but I am not living with my husband. I am at home with my parents. Since 1 eame back I have to work much

harder for Mother and Dad both work. I can't raise my child here in the house with my parents. My 15-year-old sister doesn’t help me any. All she cares about is boys and a good time, and my parents don't do anything about it. I never had the privileges she has. I want to get an apartment of my own. I could Itve on the money my husband gives me, and I have a little money myself. My parents say it is not right to leave them. Well, they ean't keep me with them always, What would you advise me to do? to SHIRLEY. CE I Answer—Very few girls are satisfled in the homes of their parents after they have been married and had a home of their own. No matter how well-meaning the parents they are apt to treat the girl as a

child, which is hard to take after a taste of ordering one’s own life. 1 agree with you that you'd be better off in your.own home, bearing your own responsibilities,

DEAR JANE JORDAN—I am a girl of 18, married and have a year old baby. My husband and I are separated. I still love him but am not sure he still loves me. He has been going with another girl. After all I am still his wife by law. Should I try to find someone else or wait,

A-I A. » » » Answer—Wait for a settlement with your husband before you look for someone else. It may be reconciliation; it may be divorce; but now is no time to be dating again. JANE JORDAN.
