Mrs. Effie M. “Hendricks, whose husband, William E. Hendricks, was to have been buried this afternoon, died today in‘ the home of their daughter, Mrs. Ola R. Graham, 1204 S. Emerson ave, Mr, Hendricks, a retired road contractor, died Friday in his daughter's home. ’ Yesterday, when his wife's condition grew worse, his funeral was postponed. Double services will be conducted for the couple by the Rev. Roy Davis of the Southeastern Union church at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Moore & Kirk Irvington mortuary, 5342 E. Washington st., with burial in Washington Park cemetery. Mrs. Hendricks, who observed her 78th birthday yesterday, had been ill for nine weeks, a week longer than her husband.
