was left with a spine injury in an

my other brother, sister and myself. A desperate illness left her completely deaf. My brother was killed in this war. My sister died in childbirth three years . ago. My father cannot
My mother may live for years but I do not want her to be an object of charity. Now about my wife. I did not want to marry
Jane Jordan until after the war but tears always have heen my undoing. When I finally consented to marry my ‘wife I explained about my family,
the insurance and the allotments that must go to mother and she said she understood, that she had a good job and was able to work. Her mother died eight years ago and left $25,000 in trust for her which she will receive when she is 30. The mother left it in trust 50 the father couldn't get a pénny of it. I know for a fact that her never-do-well father is behind this (the girl's wish.to have her husband’s insurance made over to her.)

That your lack of faith was justified seems obvious but that still does “not relieve you of the part you played in your own disappointment. However, you are the one who had to pay for your mistake and I have no wish to add to your burdens by further condemnation.
