WASHINGTON, Nov. 24 (U. P.). -—Maj. Gen. Terry Allen commands the 104th U. 8. infantry divsion which is reported to be fighting in Holiand as part of the Canadian 1st army, it has been learned at the war department. “Terrible Terry” won fame In Tunisia_and Sicily as leader of the 1st infantry division. He was placed in command of the 104th at Camp Adair, Ore, in October, 1943. The move was Qfficially explained as in keeping with the policy of rotating officers to give troops in training the benefit of working under experienced combat commanders.
