” ” » Broccoli Polonaise: One lb. broccoli, .1 tsp.-salt, 2 thsp. butter or margarine, salt and pepper, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. bread or cracker crumbs, 1 hardboiled egg. Clean broccoli by removing leaves from sides of stalk and peeling stalk thinly if necessary. Soak head down in salted water to remove any insects. Split stalks upward toward head several times. Separate into serving pieces but do not cut up. Place 1 tsp. salt and water to cover in bottom of pan—'4 in, deep. Use kettle deep enough to allow broccoli to stand upright on stem and cover without mashing delicate buds. When water boils, place drained broccoli upright in pan, cover and allow to boil 10 mins. Water will be gone by this time. Mganwhile brown butter in small skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper.” Add lemon juice and bread

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice C. Dux are on a wedding trip following their marriage dat 9 o'clock this morning in St. “John’s Catholic church, The vows were read .by the Rev. Fr, Bernard Sheridan, The bride was Miss Bernice Fisher, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Charles Fisher, Hartford City, and Mr,
Beech Grove. A white satin gown was worn by the bride. The fitted basque was made with a sweetheart ‘neckline, long sleeves tapering into points ‘over the hands and a gathered skirt extending into a train. Bride's Rouquet . She wore a full length veil of illusion attached to a coronet of pearlized orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white roses and sweetpeas. The maid of honor was Miss Margaret Fisher, Hartford City, sister of the bride. She chose an orchid taffeta fashioned with a square neckline, three-quarter |length sleeves and a full skirt. She | wore a matching shoulder veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses, Bridesmaids’ Frocks Miss Janice Heyden, Hartford City, and Mrs. Francis Dux were the bridesmaids. Mrs, Dux chose rose taffeta and the other attendant wore blue taffeta. They wore matching shoulder-length veils and carried chrysanthemums. Dorothy Woerdeman was flower girl.
