THE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION of the First Presbyterian church will present Miss Georgia McKinney of Tabriz, Iran, at a thank offering service and tea Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the church. . Miss McKinney has been spon= sored by the First church as missionary to Iran (Persia) for nearly a quarter century. Local women recall Miss McKinney and her colleagues made such a deep impression on the government of Iran that they were asked to help inaugurate a system of public education, Miss Martha Dorsey will lead the devotions for the meeting, of which Mrs. Ross C. “Decay, Demoralization, Disilluslonment, Disintegration, Dearth, Desolation, Death and Destruction —Why?” will be discussed in a sermon by that title preached by Free Methodist Bishop C. V. Fairbairn of McPherson, Kas.,, tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. in the Meridian Street

Bishop Fairbairn is guest speaker for the revival being conducted by Free Methodist churches in the church. In addition to the meeting tomorrow afternoon, sgrvices will be held daily at 7:30 p. m. through Sunday, Nov. 26. Willard Munson plays the organ and the Rev. LeRoy McDowell, superiptendent, directs the singing. Of this united effort of his denomination, the Rev. E. E. Wright, pastor of the First Free Methodist church, said: “It is an example of a national trend toward co-opera-tive evangelism.”
'Soul and Body’ Is
Topic of Sermons
All Christian Science churches tomorrow will study the lesson =sermon subject, “Soul and Body.” The golden text is: “My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.” Psalms 84:2. The lesson-sermon also includes the following passages from the] Christian Science textbook, “Science | and Health with Key to the Scrip-| fures” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Phe immortal, spiritual man is really substantial, ‘and reflects the eternal substance, or Spirit, which mortals hope for. He reflects the divine, which constitutes the only real and eternal entity. This reflection seems to mortal sense trans cendental, because the spiritual man's substantiality transcends mortal vision and is revealed only through divine Science” (p. 301).

When 2067 Baptists in the armed forces are demobilized and return to Indianapolis, they will find an organization standing ready to give them counsel in the flelds*of employment, law, mental read justment and domestic relations. The reorientation of the returning: serviceman has been much discussed by the religious press in recent months. It is said that marriages made in haste and changes that have taken place on the home front make wise counseling necessary. Accordingly, the Baptist curches expect to have a program to meet such problems under way by Christmas. Three Sects Plan Rural Life Parley
The three historic peace churches, hte Brethren, Quakers and Menon- |; ites, will conduct their third annual rural life conference, Dec. 8 and 9, at Bluffton college, Bluffton, O. All denominations are invited to attend. The conference is part of an edu-~ cational program to improve life in the country and in villages. The peace churches express grave con= cern because of the effect of the decline of rural life upon the churches. It is their purpose, therefore, to influence an increasing number of young people to remain on the farms and in small towns.
