Answer—For the sake of your children it is better for you to work things out with your wife. After all when you marry a girl of 15 you have to expect immature reactions. To be sure she should have grown up by now but she didn’t and that partly may be your fault. You probably thought her childishness delightful at first but got tired of its endless manifestations, particularly after you had other children to pet. If you took time out when you first got home to pet your wife and reassure her as to her standing in your affections, you might have a more peaceful evening. After all you can't expect a perpetually dissatisfied woman to behave like a rational human being. Through

He has begged me to take him back and has made all kinds of promises, but I never can trust him again and I know his good behavior would wear off if he got me back. I have thought of going into the service but people are trying to talk me out of it, saying it would give me a bad name if I joined. What should I. do? MRS. B.’
” » ” Answer — How can a girl get a bad name for serving her country unless her conduct is bad? In any walk of life where men and women are thrown together there is bound to be gossip. Some girls will ac quire bad names deservedly and some will suffer a bit undeservedly, but no’ girl can get a bad name for long in any company if her conduct is above reproach.
