Jani Augustine Wins Award
Miss Jani Augustine, daughtér of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Augustine, 6280 Chester st., is state winner of the 4.H rural electrification contest. The announcement came from the state 4-H club offi Purdue university. Miss Augustine will receive a trip to the national 4-H club conference to be held Dec. 3 to 6 in Chicago. She also is winner of the Marion county 4-H jural electrification "achievement record contest spon. sored by the Indianapolis Power & Light Co, in co-operation with the Marion county agricultural extension service. She received a $125 scholarship payable when she enters college. :

tending into the fitted sleeves. The fitted basque and she wore a fingertip veil of illusion which cascaded from a coronet of embroidered seed pearls. She carried a white orchid and stephanotis. Mrs. Robert H. Graves was her sister's matron of honor. She chose a mist blue satin frock with a square neckline, three-quarter length sleeves and a gathered skirt and carried an arm bouquet of Briarcliff roses and white chrysanthemums. Canteen Hut Is Completed
A Red Cross canteen hut to replace a clubmobile was completed recently at Stout field. It will be operated by the Red Cross canteen corps. ’ Plans for construction were made by Lt. Col. Wright J. Sherrard, Virgil Sheppard, W. 1. Longsworth and John O. Calvin. Mrs. A. R. Coffin was head of a committee from the local chapter which was in charge of zanstruction.
