SH there's 3 cobweb on that door. In a moment it will be gone with a flick of the duster. But right now, it’s a sign of good housekeeping, for it shows that an unused bedroom has been closed off to save heat.
There's going to be some shortage of coal delivered to homes this winter. This isn’t because less coal is being produced. More coal is being mined this year than last, Mine owners and miners alike are doing asplendid job. And there are ample rail facilities for transporting coal.
But certain grades and gizes of coal are needed for war produétion. And, in” addition, your local coal dealer is suffering from a shortage of manpower, trucks and tires. So be patient with him and make the coal you get goasfaras possible.
Save Coal —=-and
Sign ofa good housekeeper!
Be sure your heating system is clean and in good shape. Fire carefully. Pull your shades and draw the drapes at night. Close off unused bedrooms. For other suggestions see your coal dealer.

Hint Script Misplaced
* They were schgduled to appear in court Tuesday to unfold the story of just what happened the night that Hall lost a good-sized portion of his classic nose during a visit to the Dorsey apartment. It looked like somebody misplaced the script to the story because Hall said he couldn't remember all that happened and the Dorseys and Smiley sald they didn't want to talk about it. District Attorney Fred N. Howser prompted them into giving the grand jury, a brief outline of the “plot” and then filled charges. When he started collecting his witnesses for the hearing, however, he found several important members of the cast missing.
Want to ‘Forget’
Actor Eddie Norris and Singer Jane Churchill, who says she is a distant relative of that other Churchill, were in New York. They said they wanted to stay there and forget all about the “incident” which they witnessed—and took | part in.
