The Sunnyside board also proposed that the functions of the Flower Mission and Sunnyside be consolidated, placing all of the county's tuberculous patients in a single institution under a single administration for greater economy. The location of- the new hospital will be moved closer to 63d st. so that patients will be removed as far as possible from the noise and dirt of the railroad which borders the south of the property. The construction of the hospital building would provide for the advantage of a cheerful outlook and an abundance of sunshine which the present accommodations do not provide. It is proposed that the present main hospital be converted into an employee building with reconstruction where needed for greater efiiciency. A power house also will be provided with .additions to the Nurses’ home and the construction of homes for resident physicians.

P).— Here's a modern counterpart of the Biblican story of “manna from heaven.” While Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hagstrom were inspecting congratulatory gifts and messages upon the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary a large pheasant flew through the window. The bird was killed by the shattered glass, but Hagstrom gladly replaced the window. He said it t
was a rare bargain for a i dinner.

city was using a newly developed method of storing natural gas. Huge demands by Cleveland’s war plants for gas led engineers there to place into operation a system of freezing gas into a liquid form and storing it into spherical, cork-lined tanks, it was understood. In this way, it was believed, available storage space could be utilized to the fullest and thus make more gas available to Cleveland industry in its peak periods.
