PLUNGING AUTO KILLS 61'S WIFE
Mother of 2 Suffers Broken Neck When Borrowed . ~ Car Runs Wild.
A 24-year-old Scottsburg mother of two children died ‘yesterday afternoon of a broken neck and fractured skull when the borrowed automobile ,She was driving went out of control about one-third of a mile west of the Marion county line, sliced off .a utility pole and plowed 50 feet up an embankment.

ley Hall, who lived with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stewart, Scottsburg, while her husband
11s overseas with the armed forces.
Deputy sheriffs who investigated and sent the body to the city morgue said Mrs. Hall had borrowed an automobile belonging to Miss Marian Davis, 2533 Carrollton ave. The car was being repaired by Gene Shockley, of the Carrollton ave. address, -who was unaware that Mrs. Hall intended to drive the automobile away from the vicinity.
