Rites for Mrs. Louis F. Schott, who died Thursday of a heart attack, were conducted yesterday at the Feeney & Feeney mortuary by the Rev, 8. MRS. HOMMEL DIES AFTER KITCHEN FIRE
Mrs. Gertrude Hommel, 17023 8. Belmont ave. died last night in City hospital of burns received when her clothing caught fire, Sept. 23. She was 43. Her husband, George Hommel, told police that he was in the next room, heard her scream and tore the blazing clothes from her. The accident occurred while she was cooking breakfast. She was the mother of nine.
