E-Z-BAKE NUT CRUNCHES . 1/2 cups Enriched E-Z-BAKE Flour
* 13 cup shortening | egg 1/5 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts I/2 cup chopped raisins ’
w= Sift E-ZBAKE Flour, meas. ure, and sift again with soda
and salt. Cream sugar and shortening until soft and creamy,
add egg and vanilla and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing only until “thoroughly blended. Fold in nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a moderate oven (375 degrees F.) for ten minutes. Yield: About 5 dozen cookies.
