Lt. Thomas G. Roscoe, a former employee of the Allison division of General Motors, was killed in action July 3 in the South Pacific. according to word received by Miss Martha Engle of Indianapolis. Lt. Roscoe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Roscoe, ‘Chicago, and was employed by the Bendix Aviation Corp. South Bend, before Joining the Allison ‘plant. He worked here as a carburetor engineer for about a year and a half, leaving Dec. 11, 1942, to join the marine corps. While residing in Indianapolis the lieutenant made his home at 5064 W. 16th st., Speedway City. "no Pvt. Floyd E. Parks, formerly of 1148 S, State ave, brother of Mis. Frank Coulter, 2626 Manker st., was killed in action in Prance. He first was reported missing since July 29 and later was reported killed on that day. Pvt. Parks was 37 and entered

Sunday at the Sommerset Methodist church, of which he was a member.
