ing from now on is going to be cold, wet and wintry, So all the fair-weather fishermen will proceed to pack up their tackle, sit back and dream until spring. Not se the true angler who knows that the best fishing is in the late fall and early winter. Many a big lunker has been pulled out of

waters in Marion county on and after Thanksgiving day. And for you hardy souls who would rather fish than stay home by the fire here are some of the choice fall fishing spots in this area: The Greensburg reservoir and Lake McCoy, St. Paul quares, the Danville reservoir at the ig 4 tracks, Fall Creek reservoir, Bloomington reservoir, Patton Park at Martinsville and the gravel pits there. A few others recommended are the two lakes in Morgan-Monroe state park, Yellowwood, any landlocked body of water and rivers and streams naving deep holes. Incidentally night fishing is at

THERE'S BEEN NO report of it here as yet, but in Ohio a good many sports dealers are getting the frown from state OPA officials because they are insisting on pur= chasers of shotgun shells buying hunting licenses at the same time. This the OPA points out is a violation of OPA regulations which forbids “tie-in* sales—making the purchaser of one article buy another item at the same time, . ” ”
