their mother's philosophy of marriage. If they do they will think it is all right to philander and expect their wives to laugh if off as a boyish

We do everything we can for -our husbands, love them more every dey, but if we ask for anything they fly off the handle and give us that none-of -your-business attitude. If they run around with other girls we are supposed to tell them it is all right and think nothing of it. Do you think it is right for married men to do this? UNLUCKY WIFE.

Answer—No, I do not think-it is right for married men to distress their wives by running around with other women, Nowhere in anything I have written will you find that I lever suggested that a woman tell her husband that such behavior was “all right.” Under our laws infidelity entitles a woman to divorce. In many cases she doesn't want a divorce and has no means of support if she gets one from a man who has no property. What is such a woman to do? She can’t leave her husband. Neither can she reform him. I know of no magic which will Shanes! such a man. No woman is in the least obligated to pretend that she ah such a situation. She is entitled to an outlet for her angry, hostile feelings. The trouble is that continuous outbreaks, quarreling. and recrimination only widen the breach which she so earnestly wishes to heal. Therefore, it is an advantage if she can soften her attitude toward the offender and not feel so outraged. She will save herself a Jot of misery if she can put ‘adultery in the category with other faults and not regard it as the
