- THE CIVIC THEATER'S SOCIAL ACTIVITIES for the coming season are announced today by the theater's
affairs committee of which Mrs. Harry T. Pritchard is

© The first event will be an autumn tea on Oct. 4 in the
+ home of Mrs. Kurt Pantzer with Mrs. Lindon A. Bailey
as chairman. There will be a celebrity tea Nov. 8 and
Mrs. Thomas Neal will have charge.
On Jan. 16, Mrs. Fred Luker will be chairman for a “magic tea” and March 7 a “crazy hat tea” is planned. Mrs, Howard. T. Griffith will be chairman for the latter party. A garden party on June 6, directed by Miss Helen Coffey, will end the season's activities, At a recent tea, Mrs, Pritchdfd announced the committees for the year including two new ones. They are war activities with Mesdames Walter Myers Jr., Earl O. Noggle and C. C. Robinson, chairmen, assisted by Mesdames Hortense Rauh Burpee, Dudley Gallahue and
John G. Kinghan.

All the attendants wore matching frocks of ‘Wedgwood blue silk jersey with square necklines, bracelet sleeves, fitted bodices and bouffant skirts.

Horse Show Acts Listed
The 12th annual all - western roundup «of the Indiana Saddle Horse association will be held Sept. 17 at Gregg farms. The show will begin at 10 a. m. with the grand parade at 1 p.m. More than 500 horses are to participate in the parade. There will be three specialty acts Including a 12-mule hitch owned by the Jett brothers of Grant county; the trick horse of Lloyd Pitzer, Milford, Ill, and Border Collie Curley, the sheep dog owned by Ray Koontz of West Alexandria, O.
