The 49th annual session of the Indiana council, Daughters of America, opened last night at the Lincoln hotel, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Louise Tegeler. Dr. C. T. Malan, state superintendent of public schools, made the welcoming address followed by a response by Mrs. Cora Andriessen, national vice councilor, Tiffin, O. Music was presented by Miss Ellen Klinglesmith, soloist, and S. Sgt. Jor Campbell, Stout field. Presentation of the flag was made by M. Sgt. Luther Wooten, M. Sgt. James McCombs and S. Sgt.
