P).— Butch Jenkins, 7-vear-old scene stealer of ‘The Human Comedy,” today had court approval of a $350 8 week contract which provides that half his income shall go into war bonds. Butch is the son of Actress Doris Dudley, who appeared in court with him to hear the judge’s ruling.

Rites for John D. Offringa, 1228 Albany st, Beech Grove, retired dairyman and stock dealer, who dipd yesterday at Ben Hur hospital,
will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m.,, at the J. C. Wilson funeral home
with burial in Washington Park. Born in the Netherlands 91 years ago, Mr. Offringa came to this country 47 years ago. He was a former member of the Holland Reformed church. His wife, Mrs. Weipkje Offringa, died two months ago at the age of 101. Survivors are a son, Mark C.; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond A. Bulstra; two step-sons, C. M. and Herman Bottema, and three stepdaughters, Mrs, F. P. Baker, Mrs. A. Koopman, and Mrs. P. O. Persson, all of Indianapolis.

LEAH PETERSEN Services for Mrs. Leah Petersen, who died yesterday at her home, 5110 Riverview dr., will be held tomorrow &t 11 a. m. at Flanner & Buchanan mortuary with burial in Washington Park. Born in Alabama in 1890, Mrs. { Petersen had lived here for 25 years iand was a member of the Church of Christ, = Scientist. She was the author of several magazine articles, Besides her hiisband, Anton, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
