' It was true that the sudden influx of warships—mostly light vessels and transports—at first glance appeared large in the harbors, I actually saw only about 20 guns unioaded. They were small howitgers and heavy anti-tank guns. For no practical purpose these guns had been shunted back and forth in open freight cars between the western and southern harbors to let the people see them. Only a few of the gun carriages had rubber tires which, along with! the general inferior appearance of the equipment, made a poor impresgion ‘on the Finns,
