2 New Stars In War Film
Toumanova, Peck Put Over ‘Days of Glory.’
Two Hollywood newcomers well on their way to stardom, Tamara Toumanova and Gregory Peck, were introduced in “Days of Glory,” a story of the love of a Russian
ballerina, which opened yesterday at the Circle. Miss Toumanova, one of the greatest ballerinas of the day, has exceptional acting ability, and did not fall back on her dancing to make a success of her screen debut. Mr. Peck, a handsome young Broadway actor, may prove fo be one of the greatest male discoveries in some time. Plot is Routine The plot is not a great deal different from those of preceding movies of the Russian-German conflict and could not hold the average movie-goer’s attention were it

“The Song of Bernadette,” starring Jennifer Jones, the 1943 academy award winner, will open at the Granada theater tomorrow for a four-day engagement.
