The war department has announced the temporary promotion to lieutenant colonel of three Indianapolis men.’ They are James C. Skinner, 317 E. Maple rd.; Thomas A. Bailey, 28 N. Pennsylvania st.; and William H. Krieg, 5858 Forest lane.

Ralph I. Buckels, nephew of Mrs. Minnie E. Bicknell, 72 N. Dearborn st.,, was enrolled recently in a special course in the wheeled vehicle department at Ft. Knox, Ky.
