Parties Planned for Bride-to-Be
SEVERAL PRE-NUPTIAL PARTIES have been planned for Miss Wasson. Among them will be a luncheon Thursday given by Mrs, William H. Armitage. Thursday evening, Dr. and Mrs, Chester Stayton will entertain for the bride-to-be with a buffe{ supper and garden party at their home. Miss Betsy Medlicott will have a luncheon Friday afternoon and a bridal dinner will be given Friday evening by Miss Morrison in the Propylaeum. The bride-to-be will entertain her attendants at a breakfast Saturday morning in the Columbia club. A breakfast and miscellaneous shower were given at the Indianapolis Athletic club this morning for Miss Wasson by Mrs. J. C. DeHority. Girls to Attend Camp lllahee
SEVERAL INDIANA GIRLS will leave next Tuesday to spend an eight-week season at ‘Camp Illahee, Brevard, N. C. Going from Indianapolis will be Miss Mary Landis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Landis; Miss Cynthia Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Campbell: Misses Elizabeth and Mary Goodwin, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Goedwin: Miss Jane Curle, the Marvin E. Curles’ daughter, and Miss Mildred Cornelius, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. George Cornelius, The daughters of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Carlos of Ft. Wayne, Mary and Elizabeth, also will leave with the group. Miss Joan Teetor, New Castle, will join the girls at the camp where she will be an apprentice counselor this season. She and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Macy Teetor, have been visiting her brother, Macy Jr. at an army camp in the South. Miss Cornelius will serve as an Illahee counselor while Miss Curle and Miss Elizabeth Goodwin will be junior counselors. The girls will return Aug. 22.
