They will find the C-47 transport plane familiar from the outside. It is of the same design as the commercial airliner known as the DC-3 in prewar days. Once inside it, however, they will realize that it has been stripped of all luxuries to convert it to war uses.

Will See Two Others

The CG-4A glider and the C-47 air evacuation hospital ship, looming large in current war dispatches, are the two other types of craft which will be on display. Throughout the afternoon thers will be training flights in which the planes and gliders may be watched in action. Troop carrier planes will perform “snatch” glider pick-ups and dual tows, and will be heard communicating by radio with ground control units. All sections of the air base will display AAP equipment in charge of soldiers who will describe its functions. The 30-piece Stout fleld band will

| play ‘popular and military music.

Public to View Anti-Tank Bazooka

THE ARMY'S tank-busting bazooka and its rocket projectile will be on display for the first time here when Capt. Lionel Ede wards, Stout es field base ordnance officer, explains its operation Sunday afternoon.
