English Show Will Be Held Sunday By Indiana Saddle Horse Association
THE FIRST OF TWO SHOWS which the Indiana Saddle Horse association is sponsoring this season will be an English show Sunday in Columbus, Ind. The allwestern show will be held Sept. 10 at a location to be
announced later by the I. S. H. A. Two performances are scheduled Sunday, at 1:30 and 7:30 p. m, at the Bartholomew county fair grounds, The 22 classes, including five stake events, will be judged by Ray Kettman, Shelbyville, Ky. saddle horses and ponies, and George Sadlier, hunters and jumpers. Verne K. Reeder, general chairman for the I. S. H. A. shows, and Fred Sharp, Franklin, chairman for the English show, head the arrangements committees. On the executive committee are P. O. Ferrel. E. A. Crane, William C. Hunter, Mr, Reeder, Mr. Sharp and Mrs. Howard Schaibley, Frankfort, Mrs, Schaibley and Mrs, Marie M. Bowen will serve as secretaries,

Fresh coconut cream pie: 2 c. milk including coconut milk, 24 e. sugar, % tsp. salt, 2 tbsps. cornstarch, 3 tsps. flour, 2 eggs separated, 2 c. fresh coconut grated in long shreds, 1 tbsp. butter, 4 tsp. vanilla; 1 8-in baked shell, cooled, 1; ¢. sugar. Heat 1'2 c. of the milk, sugar and salt to boiling point. Blend corn starch and flour with remaining % c. milk, add egg yolks and beat thoroughly. Combine with boiling mixture and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles (about 1 min), stirring constantly. Remove from hedt, add 1 ¢. of coconut, butter and vanilla. Cool thoroughly. Turn into shell: top with meringue made from stifly beaten egg whites and 4 Cc. sugar, sprinkle with remaining coconut and bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 12 mins. Cool. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lyzott, 2545 S. Pennsylvania st. Mr. Styring, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Styring, Southington, Conn., is stationed at Camp Atterbury. Entering alone, the bride wore a gown of white point d'esprit fashioned with a high neck, fitted basque and full skirt. Her fingertip veil was held by a latticed net Juliet cap entwined with lilies. She carried a cascade bouquet of stephanotis and gardenias.
Couple’s Attendants
The bride's cousin, Miss Marie Lyzott, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was her only attendant. She wore a yellow marquisette frock with a fitted basque and full skirt. Her bouquet was of daisies. Richard Styring, Detroit, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man jand the ushers were Lt. Darrell Napier ard Lt, Fred Atchison, both of Camp Atterbury. The couple is on a trip to New York and on their return will be at home here. Mrs. Styring attended Butler university where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and Mr. Styring is a graduate of Trinity college.
