RECRUITING EXAMS

Screening tests for the army air forces which were discontinued March 28 will be resumed this week. The civil air patrol, which is the only recruiting agency for the A. A. F, announced that examinations would be held at 1 p. m. Wednésdays and 8 a. m. Saturdays in room 419 of the federal building. Lt. Col. Walker W. Winslow, wing commander, 52d wing, C. A. P,, said that the tests were open to young men between 17 years and 17 years and nine months. If qualified they will be in the aviation cadet enlisted reserve which is at present the only route to training as a bombardier, navigator or pilot.
