The Rev. W. E. Watkins will officiate at services for Dr. Alonzo Franklin Welcher, a dentist on the West side, at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Beech United Brethren church near Clay City following a brief service at 10 a. m., Wednesday in the Farley funeral home, 1604 W. Morris st. Burial will be in the Beech cemetery. Dr. Welcher, who. was 68, died Saturday in St. Francis hospital. He lived at 109 N, Bradley ave, and practiced dentistry at 1719 Howard st. for 14 years. He was a member of the Jasonville Christian church.
