was educated in the Rockville public and parochial schools and Indiana university, being graduated | with the degree of LL. B, in 1917,
He served with the Indiana Na-
| tional Guard on the Mexican bor- {| der and was discharged for physical
disability. - He then joined the legal department of the Travelers Insurance Co. and two years later was appointed secretary of the state industrial board by Governor Goodrich. He remained as industrial board secretary until 1923 when he joined the law firm of White, Wright &
Wright & Boleman having been «| organized in 1924 when Mr. McKay moved to Florida. Mr. Boleman married Mary Sweet of Martinsville on June 9, 1820, to which union were born two sons, Edward J. Jr, 21, and Benjamin Boleman, 16. * He was a member of the AmerIndianapolis Athletic club, Highland Golf & Country club, Indiana University Alumni club, Indianapolis, Indiana
