Returns From Sea Duty

Gale E. Tate, seaman 1-c, USNR, has reported to New Orleans, La. after spending 10 months at sea as member of the naval gun crew of a merchant ship. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert G. Tate, 4229 Crittenden ave, his ship was among the first to take supplies in to American troops a few days after they landed on the Gilbert and Marshall islands.
