By UNITED PRESS A German staff officer captured by the Russian army charged that Adolf Hitler personally had ordered “permanent mass murder” of Rus. sians on a scale more extensive than that described at the recent Kharkov trial, a Moscow broadcast said last night. The broadcast, sponsored by the Free Germany committee and reported by the federal communica=tions commission, said Hitler communicated his views to a group of generals and elite gudrd leaders at a staff meeting in March, 1941, prior to the invasion of Russia. “His plans,” the captured officer,
as saying, “included a demand to wipe out the whole Russian intelligentsia, mayors, economic leaders, engineers, officers and so forth by

Paddy Wagon Aids 4-Year-Old
CHICAGO, Dec. 28 (U. P)— The 4-year-old boy was. lost. He had forgotten his last name and he could not tell police his address, but he knew he was born in a patrol wagon. So police began checking and Patrolman Edward Cavanaugh re called that a- woman whose last name was Nash gave birth to a son. in a “paddy wagon” in 1939, She lived on 43d st., Cavanaugh recalled. Billy Nash then remembered his name and was taken to his home on 43d st.
